Hong Kong, Tai O and CityGate Outlet Day 6

I think most of the people familiar with Tai O as you can find it easily inside TVB drama like 大澳的天空. This place is a well known fisherman village and they produce a lot of salted and dry seafood.


As you can see, salted fish is one of their local specialty food.



During our research on Tai O, we found out that they do not have any famous food instead they sell a lot of nice pastry.


Tada~ in Tai O you can get a very nice Homemade Tau Fu Fa.


Their Tau Fu Fa is very silky and smooth.


In Tai O, you can spot a lot of Chinese Temple as well.



Well, I think most of the people will have the though that fisherman village is dirty and smelly. Unlike Pulau Ketam, Tai O is a very very clean City. You can see alot of public dust bin everywhere. They even have the dust bin specially made to keep clean from dog waste product. What impress me more is they even have a special spot specially design for their dog to shit on as you can see on the photo above. Geng!


Tai O life is more relaxing unlike Kowloon. At here you can feel it very peaceful and silent. There is no rush in their life.

Inside contains a lot of Peanuts.


Or you may prefer to have White Peas.


Lo Mai Chi! My favourite childhood food.


The size is more bigger compare to Malaysia and it is full with peanuts + thin skin. Very yummy~
We spent almost 2 hour here and is time to leave.


Is Day 6 already and we yet to have chance to shopping. Hence we decide to step into CityGate Outlets for a kill!

Hong Kong, Giant Buddha and Avenue of Star Day 5

Day 5, most of us now begin to experiencing foot pain. Hence we decided to woke up late and skip breakfast. So we straightaway to Ngong Ping Village by taking MTR from Mongkok -> Lai King -> Tung Chung (Exit B). From there, you can select either to take cable car or Bus to Ngong Ping 360. Unfortunately, cable car terminal is under maintenance right now. In this case, walk to Bus Terminal and take Bus 23 to Ngong Ping 360.


Please take note, the road to Ngong Ping will cause dizziness and it took around 1 hour to reach the destination. Enjoy your trip :)






Vegetarian will be the breakfast + Lunch of the day.

Path to Wisdom. Warning to those who wanted to enter Path to Wisdom. Please make sure you have umbrella, make sure you enough stamina, make sure you have enough water supply and make sure you got a nice and comfortable shoe. Or else you will suffer as the road to Path of Wisdom is more like jungle tracking instead of jogging.

Next we move to back from Tung Chung -> Lai King -> Tsim Sha Tsui (Exit J).

As for our dinner, we just did a random pick from any shop around Tsim Sha Tsui. Before going back to our hotel, again we have our delicious supper at Hui Lau Shan.

Hong Kong, Ocean Park, Golden Bauhinia Square and Causeway Bay Day 4

Day 4 started and we start our travel with a wonderful and delicious Congee as breakfast.


Ocean Empired

Once done, is time to Ocean Park. From MTR, we take Yau Ma Tei -> Admiralty (Exit B). From there, walk to the terminal bus and take Bus 629 to Ocean Park.

Proceed to Atoll Reef where you can see a lot of sea creatures.



McD as lunch. Ordered Egg Sausage Burger. Very small size compare to Malaysia McD. Some more, their meal not come with set.

I love this one~ Time is limited in Ocean Park, According to itinerary, we need to move forward on 5pm to Golden Bauhinia Square.


This is the place where the ceremonies for the handover of Hong Kong back in 1997. But I don't find anything special here other than the sculpture, a gilded flower bauhinia. To reach here, you need to spend all your way from MTR Admiralty -> Wan Chai (Exit 5A) and then walk for 25minutes to arrive the destination.


After some walking hell, we reach Time Square and though of shopping. Forget it, Time Square is not a place for us. They all selling high end product which is bloody expensive.


Well, at the end we just retreat from Time Square and look for our dinner.

This is our most expensive dinner we had since our arrival to Hong Kong. :(
