Skin Specialist or Dermatologist?

Well, you might or might not know that previously my face was in pimple crisis. Start from 2009 June or early (I forget the exact date), my face suddenly overturn to the hell volcano. During that period, I approached a lot of Dermatologist and skin products that hope will revert my face to original state.

And so I found Dermalogica, a skin product from US at The Mines Shopping Center. Listening to their package and promotion do attract me to join for the programme. Hence I took their package which cost me around RM876. The package includes 4 time advance cleaning and treatment plus 2 free gift worth RM300. After the treatment, gradually I saw my face become better and right after the 4th treatment my face completely pimple free. I'm really grateful but nightmare just began. Even though the 4th treatment do cure my face, but without a consistent treatment every two week, the pimple will return start from 3rd week. What a sad case... this means I need to spend countless of money to treat me face every 2 week once. Not to forget their daily home care product as well. Sum up were bloody hell.

Just depend on Dermatologist is not a good choice. Kanojo recommend me to seek Skin Specialist which located at Seremban. Although their treatment not cheap, but happy to said that, they cure my face entirely within 3 month. But the process is quite suffering during first month cause they supplied me with a medicine which will make my face dry and thus my lips crack. No worry, they won't serve you the medicine long term.
During the 1st month, it didn't help much. I almost lost my hope to them. But start from 2nd month, things come to change. They stop supply me medicine rather they asked me to bought a sunblock from Watson and then followed by the cream provided by them. And YES, 3rd month is where my face show the results!

I've stop either using their product or seeking for skin specialist for at least 2 month now and my face still beautiful. Having to said that, I spent almost RM3000 just for my face within 1 year.
I'm glad I choose on the correct option. What about you?

Here's some summary I collect from my experience:

Dermatologist Point of View:
1. Hydrating is the most important.
2. Pimple must be extracted out from face.
3. Skin dryness will lead to pimple break out.
4. Treatment every 2 week possible is the best way to keep face clean from pimple.

Skin Specialist Point of View:

1. Your face is in yeast infection (or any kind of virus infected)
2. Make your face as dry as possible. When your face dry enough, eventually the yeast will drop down from your face.
3. Do not extract the pimple as this will lead to scar.
4. Do not come back once your face cure.

Well, whichever you believe it doesn't matter. As long as they able to cure your face.
