Hong Kong, Arrival Day 1

After stop blogging for almost 2month, finally I get myself started again as to share my travel experience at Hong Kong for 8 days 7 nights. I hope this blog will be useful for you all in the future on planning the itinerary. So let get started. :)

Our flight is around 4.25PM but delayed until 5PM (as expected from airasia). Hence, the time we reach Hong Kong is already 10PM. The first thing we need to do after arrival of course is to purchase entry ticket (including Disneyland (HKD340), Ocean Park (HKD208), The Peak+Sky Terrace (HKD48) and Madame Tussauds(HKD160)) at China Travel Service at Hong Kong Airport Lobby Counter 5 and most important is to get Octopus Card which is like TouchnGo in Malaysia. This Octopus Card is really conveniece where you can use it on almost every public transport except Cab. You can also easily reload the amount in any 7-11 store. We bought it for HKD200, HKD50 will be the deposit. Upon returning the card, the deposit will be return back to you+value remaining. Please remind that they will charge you HKD7 for admin fee. So you only get HKD43 for more accurate.

From Airport, you can either take MTR or Bus to Mongkok (the place where we will stay for 6 days). If you plan to take MTR, take HKIA Express -> Tsing Yi -> Lai King -> Mongkok (Exit E2). For Bus, exit airport to Bus Terminal. Take A21 (HKD33) to Mongkok which will drop you in front of Bank Centre. We are landed directly in front our Hotel.

During this period, i will be staying in this damn small small room for 6 days. In regard of their services and security, it has no issue. So feel safe and enjoy your trip. Now is around 11PM. So we check in our hotel, put our stuff and proceed to find some nice char chan teng. Behind our hotel is Ladies' Market and Fa Yuen Street. The street full with light and people even though late at midnight. Thus, we found this char chan teng.
