Dragon Ball The Movie.... Serious!?

Is kinda surprise when the time I heard this news saying that Dragon Ball live action will going to release to worldwide on 15th August 2008.
From the information that I get, The film began the development since 2002, and is directed by James Wong and produced by Stephen Chow! OMG!

Whereas the cast are mixed (some from hollywood, some from hong kong, some from Japan and some from Korea).

From the list that I search:

• Justin Chatwin as Goku (the hero of the film). Sweat... why not find Japanese artist as a hero since this manga is design by the famous artist, Akira Toriyama.
• James Marsters as Lord Piccolo
• Emmy Rossum as Bulma
• Chow Yun-Fat as Maser Roshi
• Joon Park as Yamcha
• Eriko Tamura as Mai
• Randall Duk Kim as Grandpa Gohan

Just wonder how they spell out "Kame Hame Ha" in english during filming... sound funny.For my opinion, I think this kind of movie should pass back to Japanese filming company since they produce alot of anime live action before. (e.g Ultraman), Sure got alot of funny weird costume and equipment.

Anyway, I'm still hoping to see the output of this movie since Dragon Ball manga accompany me since primary school until now. God Bless.

Hide System Tray Icons Completely

Windows System Tray is to give the user faster access to the program’s options. While this option is quite useful for some applications but it does look kinda ugly especially if a lot of icons are visible in the system tray.

If you wish to have a beautiful appearance of Windows Explorer, you can hide all system tray icons. The programs will still be running in the background but only that the icons would not be visible anymore.

1. Go to regedit.
2. Navigate HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
3. Create "NoTrayItemsDisplay" using DWORD entry
4. 0 Disable and 1 Enable. For your case, enter 1 to enable it.
5. Log off!

Ar tonelico II Sekai ni Hibiku Shōjo-tachi no Metafalica

Maybe is a bit late and outdated to annouce this game here as this game release since 25th October 2007. However, I still feel that I need to share out this for all. For the title of this game, アルトネリコ２　世界に響く少女たちの創造詩（メタファリカ）literally "Ar tonelico 2: The Girls' Metafalica that Echoes to the World", with "Metafalica" meaning "song of creation".

Yesterday when I watch the opening of this game, suddenly I felt regreted not to play it during CNY. My brother brought this game long time ago and I saw this game too inside my room, maybe my laziness to try on the new game, so I ignored it.

This game is publish by Banpresto and develop by Gust. I'm not sure who's the characters designer here but according to his design, it looks alike Shining Tears (This game release in anime also: Shining Tears X Wind) which drawn by Toni Taka (if i'm not mistaken). The Character design is nice and cute. The Girl characters are are sexy too. Hehe. The game has really strong artwork, though the character design does fall into the stereotypical realm.

For the battle system, it still a 2D graphics which I like it so much. Based on the movie clip, the combo hits and magic damage can up to 100000++ after accumulate for earch turn. Sounds crazy but I love it, only this kind of damage will activate my blood heat rate!

To create this style is not difficult, but to cut out the puzzle one by one is very time consuming (Plus my laziness). That's why the output is not so perfect as what I imagine.

Cyberjaya CNY Open House 2008

This event is brought to us from Cyberjaya Community as to celebrate Chinese New Year 2008. We (with colleagues) arrive the arena around 12pm and most of the table is still empty. We straight away head to the stall and select the foodstuff. There's a lot of foods and drinks serve to us such as penang laksa, chicken rice, rojak, Fried Koew Tiaw and many many more. What I unexpected is, Old Town is one of the stall for this event. For Old Town, they serve Nasi Lemak to the public.

Luckily, today whether is cloudy, pretty good condition or else it will be damn hot and warm queuing for food. But since we came early, hence not much people is blocking our way. Apart from this, there's also some entertaining event like chinese musical band, dancing lion, fortune's god and meet special guess, Mr Black Mouse!! Since this year is a "mouse year".

I'm not sure what is the main role for this Black Mouse but he look stupid for me. He even take out a plastic snake from the bag to frighten the public who enjoying their meal. However, no one is affraid of that toy. Ignore the stupid mouse, we continue to finish our meal until we satisfied and full. Time was still early for us to back office, then we have some chit chat and leave the event around 1pm. Haha, save for today lunch!

Transformers Superlink, Must Watch!

Finally, completed a set of Transformers Superlink with a total of 51 episodes. It's amazing if compare to previous chapter, Armada which I complaint about the disappointed ending. As what I wish, this chapter is a continuous of Armada. This anime is more base on combinaton of 2D and 3D. Most of the characters on Superlink has been redesign with the better and nicer outfit. You can see alot of new characters here. What surprising is you can see Bruticus, Buildron and also Superion in Superlink! (They are 5 legendary Transformers which can be merged into a huge robot)
Well, basically in this chapter mostly plot about ENERGON that required to revive Unicron which has been defeated in the previous chapter. Galvatron! which claim already death inside Unicron body accidentally revive with the miscalculation of Alpha Q. After Galvatron revived, Autobot and Decepticon keep on war, war and war unstoppable in order to steal the ENERGON under protection of Autobot to Revive Unicron. No matter how hard Autobot defence the ENERGON, unfortunately it still falls into Galvatron hand and finally successful revive Unicron! Here come the Gigantic Monster again...

But with the helps of Primus, it gives Convoy Energy to become a Gigantic Monster too...sound crap but is really excited to see both Monster fighting with each other. At the end, once again Unicron has been defeated and exploded together with Galvatron!!! Yes, Autobot have their victory again but the joy will not last longer because Galvatron is not even death yet during the huge explosion. Damn Galvatron so lucky! What unexpected is Unicron is now live within Galvatron heart.

Galvatron return with the plan to steal all the Super ENERGON which buried deep inside Cybertron Planet. Once more, Cybertron is now under control of Decepticon and successfully absorb the Super ENERGON!!! with the madness within Galvatron (Unicron) heart, he also become a gigantic monster with the power of Super ENERGON! Incredible. Galvatron totally lost consious and fully control by Unicron. How the Autobot fight against Galvatron now??? No worries, Primus convert the energy to Convoy again and now, is the fight between monster Convoy and monster Galvatron (Unicron)!!! The story going nuts.

After a long struggle, Galvatron finally wake up from Unicron control and decided to destroy himself into the giant nuclear blast by Primus. Because of the loyalty of Decepticon, they all followed Galvatron into the nuclear and here, the war ended...

Is useless I explain to much here, this is only a summary of the excited part I share with you. But, to know more about the story, go to watch yourself!

I fully recommended this anime to you!
I personally rated 10/10 for this anime.

I Hate Shortcut Arrow

This post is about to a guideline on how to remove away the ugly shortcut arrow from you desktop icon completely.


The shortcut arrow is an identifier icon which differentiate a normal link and a shortcut link. Hence, is recommended to leave the arrow there. But for those who dislike the arrow icon, it is a different story for them.

Well, here's the guide:

1. Start regedit.
2. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile
3. Delete the IsShortcut registry value.
4. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\piffile
5. Delete the IsShortcut registry value.
6. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ConferenceLink
7. Delete the IsShortcut registry value.
8. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\DocShortCut
9. Delete the IsShortcut registry value.
10.Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\InternetShortcut
11. Delete the IsShortcut registry value.
12. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\WSHFile
13. Delete the IsShortcut registry value.
14. Close regedit.

Change Windows Vista Logon Screen Manually

To modify the Logon Screen for Windows Vista, it is more complicated and troublesome compare to Windows XP.
This is because in Windows Vista, the Logon Screen is now embedded within a DLL file (C:\Windows\System32\imageres.dll) instead of EXE file which can be easily manage using regedit tool.

Since the file is a DLL extension, how we going to modify it?
Here's the answer:

1. Download this program: Resource Hacker
2. Extract it and Run ResHacker.exe


3. Go to File and Open, browse to C:\Windows\System32\imageres.dll and open the file.


4. Once open, you will see IMAGE, MUI and etc... expand IMAGE and you will see 50xx -> 1033
*1033 - represent english language. If you use another language, you have different language code here.
*50xx - is a resolution, xx represent different resolution and here is the list.
5031 = 1280x1024
5032 = 1280x960
5033 = 1024x768
5034 = 1600x1200
5035 = 1440x900
5036 = 1920x1200
5037 = 1280x768
5038 = 1360x768
5039 = 1024x1280
5040 = 960x1280
5041 = 900x1440
5042 = 768x1280
5043 = 768x1360

5. Right Click on 1033 and select Replace Resource.


6. Click on "Open file with new resource..." button and browse your favourite wallpaper.
Then enter the following:
Resource Type = IMAGE
Resource Name = 5031 (if your wallpaper resolution is 1280x1024)
Resource Language = 1033 (depend on your language)


7. Press Replace. Repeat the process above for all 50xx images that you want to change. When done go File and Save as... and save the file as imageres.dll in other location. (e.g. Documents).
8. So, how we going to save and replace the original file since it is a protected file? Follow the steps below:
9. By default, local admin has read only permission on c:\windows\system32\imageres.dll and the owner is trusted installation. To Take the ownership of the file:

1. Right Click on imageres.dll and Properties
2. Go to Security Tab
3. Go to Advanced
4. Go to Owner Tab
5. Click Edit
6. Rename the current C:\Windows\System32\imageres.dll to C:\Windows\System32\imageres_original.dll.
7. Copy your modified imageres.dll into c:\windows\system32\.

Done! Ctrl+L to view the changes. If do not appear, reboot your machine.

IMPORTANT!
Use at your own risk, do not modify/change/edit the settings of imageres.dll if you are insure of it. Always make a backup before perform any changes to the original file.

Change Windows XP Logon Screen Manually

I believe most of people know how to change their Windows XP Logon Screen by using third party software. But do they really understand how exactly it works?

Actually is very simple...

1. Go to download your favourite Logon Screen. (make sure the file extension is EXE)
2. Open Regedit
3. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Winlogon
4. Inside this directory, look for uihost
5. Modify the value of uihost to the location that point to your downloaded/created logon screen (e.g. C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\logon\mylogon.exe)
6. Done. Ctrl+L to view your new logon screen.
7. If you wish to change back to default Windows XP logon screen, just modify uihost value back to logonui.exe.

Again! Please use your registry tool wisely else it will corrupt your machine.

Recently, I have created an application which I named it as myfix.exe. It just a simple application that writen using VBScript. If you aware of my previous post "Infected by Virus Again??? Today, there's an event where one of our colleague is leaving our team. So we celebrate a farewell party with him and we ordered 4 buckets of KFC meal as lunch inside our office pantry. What's terrible in this event is I over ate the KFC meal. I won't tell you how many pieces I take but is totally over my expectation and limitation. Even now I smelt KFC around me. How cruel...

Create Your Own Context Menu (Right-Click Menu)

This information is show to you guys on how to create your own customize context menu (right-click menu) on your desktop.

1. First of all, Open your Regedit.exe and expand HKEY_CLASSESE_ROOT (HKCR)
2. Follow the path given below for Context Menu Customization.

Computer: CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\shell\
Internet Explorer: CLSID\{871C5380-42A0-1069-A2EA-08002B30309D}\shell\
Network: CLSID\{F02C1A0D-BE21-4350-88B0-7367FC96EF3C}\shell\
Start Menu/Folders: Directory\Shell
Desktop/Explorer: Directory\Background\shell\
Windows Explorer (All Files): *\shell\
Drives: Drive\shell\

3. What you have to do is create a sub folder into the path above
e.g. For Desktop/Explorer: HKCR\Directory\Background\Shell\Open Windows Media Player\
* This folder name can be any name

4. Add another sub folder under "Open Windows Media Player" folder that you create
e.g.HKCR\Directory\Background\Shell\Open Windows Media Player\command
*This folder name is fix

5. Inside "command" folder, double-click the "(Default)" and add the value whereby the value is the application (EXE) path that you would like to execute.
e.g. For my case, I would like the context menu to execute Windows Media Player. Hence, the value will be C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe



Done. Right-Click on your desktop and you will see an additional context menu has been added.

PSP Game Unable To Load

Yesterday I face a situation whereby my PSP was unable to load the game. The game named Patapon. What I was doing is only copy Patapon ISO file into my memory stick and next the game was appear in the game list. So, I enter the game and the game start loading. At first, the game was able to run but unfortunately it hanging halfway in "NOW LOADING" screen.

If you ever face the situation explain above, please feel free to try the solution provided below. Tested and it works!

Currently, my PSP installed with a firmware version 3.80-5 M33. If you are using this version too, then by default your ISO loader will be "M33 - No UMD". To solve the problem above, what you have to do is change the default ISO loader to "Sony NP9660 - NO UMD". How?

1. First, Go to your PSP Recovery Mode (hold R trigger and turn on your PSP)
2. Recover Mode should now load, go to Configuration
3. Then you will see an option "Use M33 - No UMD"
4. Change it to "Use Sony NP9660 - No UMD"
5. Done.

While you still in Recovery Mode, why don't try to change a bit on other settings?

For me, I have change 3 settings here that should be useful.

Go to Recovery Mode -> Registry Hacks, you will see 3 options here:

Button Assign, by default your X button is enter and O button is exit. For me who love Japan regions so much, so I prefer O button as enter and X button as exit. Well, change it whatever you like but only for X and O button.

Activate WMA, by default this function is disabled. Enabled it to make your PSP Internet Browser capable to load a webpage which contains WMA playback format.

Activate Flash Player, by default this function is disabled. Enabled it to make your PSP Internet Browser capable to load a webpage which contains Flash format.

Warning, don't play around with your Recovery Mode settings if you are unsure of what's the options is all about. Else you will screw up your PSP! Always get advise from Expert before make any further steps, don't ask me because i'm not an expert.

Tales of Destiny Director's Cut Release!!!

Yes! Tales of Destiny Director's Cut finally release on 6th Februray 2008. But too bad my brother didn't go to game shop. Hence, ended up I can't start playing the game during CNY. Well, at least it release on PS2. For sure I will complete this whole story when I back to my hometown.

Alright, actually nothing much changes on the Director's Cut compare to the original game. This version of the game includes two new game modes called "Lion's Side", and "Lilith's Side" respectively. Lion's Side makes Lion Magnus the main character of the game instead of Tales of Destiny's normal main character, Stan Aileron. Likewise, Lilith's Side does the same for Stan's sister Lilith Aileron. The original game mode from Tales of Destiny (PS2) is still available to play, under the new name "Stan's Side". What surprise is the save files of the original game are still loadable in Tales of Destiny Director's Cut. hmmm, good job.

Just can't wait to use Lion as a main character. For me, I prefer Lion more than Stan. As the skill for Lion is too cool and great especially Lion Blast Calibur.

During Chinese New Year, my relative have brought us a great stuff. Guess what? Is an Anthon Berg Chocolate Liqueur Bottles!
Inside the box contains 80 Chocolate Liqueur Bottles, including Stoli Orange, Drambuie, Malibu Rum, Grand Marnier, Jack Daniel's Whiskey, Galliano, Stoli Raspberry, Southern Comfort, Borghetti, and Sauza Tequila Gold.

Each bottle is 2 inch height. The central of chocolates do contains a liqueur and when the time you bite it, you will feel the taste of every liqueur in your mouth. Taste so good~
I tried all of the different bottles and some of it is really bitter than I thought. But when you mix it with chocolate, it will cover against bitter.

Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth JP Version

First of all, I would like to thanks to the person who develop BitComet and P2P technology. Secondly, I would like to Thanks to the person who upload torrent file.

Because of them, finally I able to download and play on the Valkyrie Profile Japanese version! I'm using almost 3 days 2 night to completely download the file without shutting down the Desktop. The file was approximately 750MB and I was downloading on my Grandma house during CNY since StreamyX are available there. Why we want to waste the oppurtunity right?

When the time I brought my PSP, the package are allow you to choose the games that you like, but unlucky, the shop owner said that he already deleted the Japanese version and only left English version. What a crap... Actually I completed Valkyrie Profile already on PSX platform. So I do not wish to have English version again in PSP. Fortunately with the power of Google, Japanese version still fall into my hand!

Project Zero 4 ~ Tsukihami no Kamen release on Nintendo Wii

零, Zero also known as Fatal Frame in Europe and Australia is one of the famous Survival Horror game in Japan which develop by Tecmo is now release on Nintendo Wii. I'm kinda of surprise on this news. If you look back to the previous series of Project Zero, it's only release on PS2.

Even though myself seldom play on Survival Horror game, but this game is really recommended compare to Bio Hazard a.k.a Resident Evil in Europe.

Tales of Vesperia on XBox 360

Unbelievable! This is the 1st "Tales of" series that release on XBox 360 Platform. Holy Crap! I can't able to play on this series again. Why this series don't want to release on PS2!!! As many of the previous "Tales of" series also release on Sony PlayStation. Jezz

Again, the characters is design by Kosuke Fujishima and the release date still unknown. When I first watch on the trailer, Wow... The graphics and animation completely amaze me. The battle mode is same as Tales of Abyss and Tales of Symphonia which is 360 motion battle.

Another Damn Boring Monday...

What a blue Monday. Most of my team colleagues already back to their wonderful hometown including Kanajo. But yet, there are some still remain here until 5th February and 6th February just have their way back to hometown. For me, I will be apart on tomorrow noon. Hope there's no jam as they always rumor about. Else there will be a terrible nightmare for me.

As usual, Chinese New Year (CNY) will be arriving soon in another 3 days left. This year will be the first year I drive back to my hometown, which mean along the way back home, I need to sit inside the car for approximately 2 hour until frozen pain in my ass.

Hmmm... for me, CNY is just a normal event. The only happy moment is the time we receive Ang Pow. However, will there be an exception this year? I hope there's really got an exception this year... Actually most of my hometown friend still studying and while me, already working. Hope that the gap between us won't be too big since already no contact for 1 year.

Anyway, wish all my friends a Happy Chinese New Year! and advise, don't gamble too much! Haha.

Finally! I have made up my mind and brought Sony PSP on last Saturday. Yes!

Yesterday before I went to sleep, I tried to play around with the setting and games. The graphics and display is very crystal clear indeed, plus the resolution is awesome. I also transfer some MP3 song inside to test on the sound system, hmmm, not bad just that there's a little sound vibrate if you MAX it. What I didn't aware about is, there's a small analog controller that make you feel easy when playing some 360 degree game such as RPG. Really unexpected.

There's really nothing to change on the setting, depend on your preferable. You can change the language, theme, wallpaper, and colors. But, there's one function that I still not yet test is the Wifi and LAN game. Too bad. Within my house area, there is no any Wifi for me to connect. Anyway, I think the Browser is not easy to use because you will need to enter the address one alphabet by one alphabet. Sound torture...

I already started to play some games which save inside my memory stick such as Castlevania, Brave Story and Guitly Gear Judgement. Hence, tonight will continue again. Haha.

My Windows Experience Index Score

Before I start, I would like to explain what is Windows Experience Index (WEI) first. Alright.

WEI - is a new feature built into Windows Vista that is designed to help you better understand how well Windows Vista and other software will perform on your PC. If your rating is high, mean your hardware performance are excellent. If your rating is low, mean your hardware performance are poor or should I say cheap?.

Please take a look on the screenshot below, it shows the rating and performance of my desktop.

Surprise? Haha, I know you will. But frankly speaking, my actual WEI score is not as high as shown on the screenshot. But I also won't tell you the actual rating on my desktop. Is better to keep it secret.

Well, curious is it? Actually is very simple.

Go to this folder: C:\Windows\Performance\Winsat\DataScore. You will see a XML file inside the folder. Each time you perform benchmarking using WinSAT (Windows System Assessment Tool (WinSAT), is a free benchmarking tool that measures various performance characteristics and capabilities of a computer running in Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. The ratings are displayed as Windows Experience Index or WEI score in your System), it creates a new XML file and store it in this folder. All you have to do is to open the latest XML file and edit it using NOTEPAD. I have tested, it only show the score between 0.1 up to 9.9. Else it won't show in your WEI.

Save the file and done. After modify, you can show it to your friend for fun.

Is important to know this. Nowadays, many computer shop owner may trick their customers by editing the WEI scores. So please be careful! Always check them by Re-running WinSAT.

How to check? Go to Control Panel\Performance Information and Tools and click "Update my Score" (Refer to the 2nd screenshot).
